This event has ended.
At Shibunkaku Museum
Media: Crafts, Art Talk
Since ancient times, miniatures have captured people's hearts through their precision and a sense of loveliness. Within the small scaled works, the creator's spirits and aesthetic sensibility are hidden. This exhibition features about 1000 works including Hina dolls, equipment to accompany the dolls (such as dining utensils), painted shells, tea sets, miniature dolls and pill cases. In addition, miniatures relating with "the Tale of Genji" will be on display.
