"Saint-Exupery's Le Petit Prince" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Daimaru Museum Kobe
Media: Illustration, Drawing
Saint-Exupery (1900-1944) is known for his career as a pilot and novelist. His most famous novel, "The Little Prince," has been translated into 160 different languages and is read all over the globe. Despite its fantastical narrative, the story is composed of many metaphors. This exhibition aims to reveal the mysteries surrounding the novel and look closely at the author's life and achievements.
Displays include a moving image reproduction of the novel, sketches by the author, and various copies of the novel in different languages. In addition, Arou Naitoh's translating process will be revealed.
