Katsuji Nishikawa "Silence, Movement, Nights"
This event has ended.
At Contemporary Art Space Osaka
Media: Photography
The exhibition features photographs of Osaka bay area's nightscapes between the 1980's and the 1990's-the period prior to the construction of Universal Studio Japan (USJ). The project originally started from realizing Nishikawa's longing for factories and industrial landscapes by the water, yet ended up as a dynamic documentation of the factories living through their final days. Monochrome photographs.
