Throughout Japanese history, artisans produced a rich variety of swords and armour featuring decorations with strong characteristics. Japanese arts and crafts fans are quick to appreciate the small details in these items and can read the warriors' aesthetic tastes, values, and at times, their playful humor. The exhibition presents the wide collection of weapons and armour kept in the Osaka Castle Museum.
