"Seeking Possibilities of Manga in Korea" Exhibition
Kyoto International Manga Museum
This event has ended.
The development of Korean manga culture has developed uniquely, using expressions that are somewhat similar to that of the Japanese style. Korea's manga industry is prominent and many universities have established courses and concentrations to train young creators. In the highly maintained Internet environment, people in Korea have started exhibiting their manga online.
In Japan, Korean manga inspires and brings various messages to the Japanese who are rarely exposed to foreign manga.
In this exhibition, Korean cartoonists are introduced in panels and visitors can grab and read Korean manga.
