Masaaki Hayashi, born in Osaka in 1931, studied under the modern painter Chikkyo Ono. He has participated in the Nitten (a nation-wide art competition) and trained the next generation of painters in Osaka. This exhibition features 46 figurative paintings of Japanese landscapes and seasons by Hayashi and 15 works by Chikkyo Ono.
