The exhibition will feature approximately 150 works that illustrate the rise of Edo culture, under the categories of "fashion and female portraiture," "portraits of popular actors," "famous landmarks in the four seasons," "Edo's famous characters from the ghost world, and other fantastical worlds," "humor and satire," and "Matthew Perry's arrival and the changes in Japan."
