In 2002, Atelier Incurve, an art studio dedicated to outsider art, opened in Osaka. Through an exhibition in New York, works produced by the atelier have grabbed the attention of the media such as the New York Times. In addition, contemporary artists like Kiki Smith were also inspired by the works' dynamic compositions and color.
In the past, the artists' works were rarely exhibited. Yet, they contain a strong passion that is finally given a voice. This will be the first museum exhibition for these five artists with approximately 50 drawings and paintings on display.
