Osamu Kojima's works are created through a complex process; first, he fires block shaped clay that has been dyed in black, fuses them together with a special adhesive, re-fires the clay, adds melted glass, and fires the piece for the final round. For this exhibition, Kojima works in a larger scale and places his works into a landscape setting. The works exhibited are from his "Nostalgia" series (together, the pieces weigh more than 6 tons).
