"I paint everything that is visible. People can view them the way they like," said artist Saburouichi Kojima. Kojima was born in Mie prefecture in 1908 and painted fruits, flowers and landscapes in a fresh color palette. Between 1939 to 1952, he studied under Kunitaro Suda and exhibited his works at independent shows. After a few solo exhibitions around the country, he passed away at age 90 right after his exhibition period in Nagoya. This exhibition features paintings, drawings and sketches by Saburouichi Kojima that depict the different seasons.
