"Soumon" is a type of Japanese poetry that was popular during the ancient and medieval period, and was sung between two people. The word's original meaning is "to keep in touch," referring to relationships between male and female, within the family, and between friends. On the other hand, the word "sou" means "to acquire strength by observing natural shapes like that of trees."
The works displayed are reflections of the human heart, through observing nature and people.
