"Marc Chagall and Jewish Mysticism" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Mie Prefectural Art Museum
Media: Painting, Architecture
Chagall once said, "Even though the world is filled with many struggles, I have never given up on the love that I give and love that is shared among people. In an artist's palette, there is a color that can create meaning in both life and art; that color is called love". The artist believed in "love" throughout his life, and it became a central theme for his work. There will be works from Japan and abroad on display including oil paintings, sketches and prints that exemplify the artist's diverse range of techniques.
