This is the 3rd P&E exhibition in which selected artists have an opportunity to exhibit their work at the museum-level space. Based on the quality of their portfolio, 24 artists are selected among 120 applicants and separated into the A or B group. Each group is composed of 12 artists and their works will be exhibited nine days each. Additionally, individual artists will perform presentations of their work and commentators will critique them through an open discussion.
Group A: August 17th(Fri) - August 25th(Sat)
Open discussion: August 18th(Sat) 14:00-16:00
Commentators: Yoshio Kato (independent curator), Yasuhiko Okumura (curator, the Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama)
Group B: August 31st(Fri) - September 8th (Sat)
Open discussion: September 1st(Sat) 14:00-16:00
Commentators: Yoshio Kato (independent curator), Atsuo Yamamoto (curator, the Museum of Modern Art, Shiga)
