Kyoto has a long history of arts and crafts. In recognition of this culture, Kyoto prefecture has collected modern and contemporary artworks and crafts, and has also actively restored those that were damaged.
This exhibition features collected and restored works from the last four years, including Japanese paintings, sculptures, textiles and dolls.

Fee

Adults ¥500, College - High School Students ¥400, Junior High - Elementary School Students ¥300. Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.

Closed on Mondays
Note:Special exhibitions close at 18:00. If Monday is a National Holiday, the museum will be open on Monday but closed the following Tuesday. Closed 12/28-1/3.
