A number of ethnic groups live along the Mekong river in the Laos region. The people eat glutinous rice called "Kaow neow." From a historical comparative view, the exhibition introduces their lifestyle through what they produce (materials, manufactures and tools) as well as photographic references and records. This exhibition is a part of research project with the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, National Museum of Ethnology, and National Institutes for the Humanities.
