This event has ended.
At The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto
Media: Painting, Sculpture

This posthumous exhibition features two artists with ties to Kyoto, Moon Seung-Keun (1947-1982) and Yagi Tadashi (1956-1983), who were greatly acclaimed for their talents yet passed away in the early 1980s at a young age. The high-quality works with infinite possibilities produced by the artists in the seventies and eighties, when Japanese contemporary art began a period of transition, will be reflected upon, thus representing a first step in the reevaluation of their careers in the context of art history.
