Takashi Hoshino encountered marquetry, a decoration technique that uses wood veneers, while studying in Spain. Since then, he has been creating "paintings" with wood that employ the various textures and colors found in nature. His works depicting Spanish landscapes, people, and animals have attracted not only Japanese viewers, but also those in Spain.
The artist will be present on February 9th (Sat), 10th (Sun), 11th (Mon/Holiday), 16th (Sat) and 17th (Sun)
