The "Picture of Mountain and Sea," (1925) featuring a snow topped mount Fuji, is one of Tetsu Fusen's famed works. In the painting, the contrast between the a tranquil Izu shore where fish swim and play, and the cold and harsh villages that spread along the Japan sea, is depicted. The exhibition will have 45 works on display by the innovative painter.
