"Xhibition #04 Where My Work and I Were Born" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Gallery Raku
Media: Painting, Installation, Crafts, Art Party, Art Talk
Miho Kawano's work, inspired by William Morris' "Strawberry Thief," renders a dream-like world in three-dimensional form. On the other hand, Junko Taniguchi refuses to use brushes to paint-instead, she directly dabs paint from the tube on the canvas, and manipulates its form by using her hand. This form of expression came about while Taniguchi explored the topic of "life." Seiko Yamamoto produces installations that use a combination of different materials; focusing on the theme of "the boundaries of touch," she will use honey, paper, oil clay, milk, steel and water.
