"Excursion into the Beauty of Kyoto" Exhibition
This event has ended.
At The Museum of Kyoto
Media: Painting, Art Talk
What is the beauty of Kyoto? It is not easy to find the proper words for this. However, paintings are capable of bringing some aspects to light. Kyoto is blessed with many artworks that painters created from the city's beauty. "One Hundred Views of the Capital," a series of paintings by a leading figure in Kyoto's art scene, is an example of a depiction of the city's irreplaceable landscape. Further, "the Seasons of the Capital" is another collection that shows Kyoto's nature, historical heritage, diverse lifestyles and customs. The series "Eulogy to Life" richly captures an aesthetic of our love and affection for nature.
