Ryouhei Koiso (1903-1988) is a painter who represents "Kobe Modernism" in Showa era. The museum organizes exhibitions of Koiso's work 6 times a year, selecting pieces based on era, techniques and themes from its permanent collection of more than 2400 pieces.
