This year marks the tenth anniversary of the death of Mayumi Miyawaki and this exhibition will introduce the world of his mother, Ayako Miyawaki, a world overflowing in the sensibilities of the Showa era. It will examine Mayumi's background and upbringing by showing the applique works of his mother and the paintings of his father, Haru.
