While enjoying the tones and reverberations of color among the different works from the collection by selected artists in various mediums, visitors can explore the meanings and intentions of color. The raw materials and techniques which give birth to color, and the historical and cultural backgrounds, will be touched on, allowing visitors to take another look at characteristics of Kyoto shown in colors.
