This exhibition details the transition of textile printing in Kyoto and the influence of African dyeing from the 1960s onwards, through the collection of Daido Maruta. There will also be pieces of traditional clothing from around the world: including Africa, India, Indonesia, Central and South American and Fiji that demonstrate the dyeing techniques in each region.
