This event has ended.

A demitasse, which means “half cup” in French, is a smaller-sized cup for enjoying a coffee after a meal. Despite the petite size, which fits entirely in the palm of a hand, the demitasse cup has charmed many with its varied forms and beautiful designs.
This exhibition introduces famous European demitasse from the 18th century to the start of the 20th century, including Meissen and Sevres porcelain, Minton, KPM Berlin, and Royal Worcester. These ceramics lovingly selected one by one by the husband-and-wife collectors Yasuhiro and Tomiko Suzuki over a span of 40 years are on show along with related household items.
