Through his beautiful yet minimal photographs Atsushi Okabe brings a disturbance to the viewer’s visual perception. In his series “Cube(2013)” for example he plays upon exposure and zoom to transform a rubics cube into particles of light in a scattering of techno rhythms and he continues his search for a unique aesthetic across various subjects from plants to manga comics.
