This event has ended.

Miki Kasahara is an artist with an uncanny ability to critically comment upon society by reassessing the ground beneath her feet. In works such as “Theme Park”(2011) she creates a powerful statement by creating a playground equipment in the form of characters associated with nuclear power stations, and leading children to play upon them. Other impressive works include “Can’t Tell Left From Right”(2013) an installation saturated with road side mirrors, disorientating viewer and preventing any chance of checking for safety. Her motifs range from corporate logos to pigeons, shrines to nuclear plants, but all invested with a particular message. This exhibition marks her first solo exhibition since participating in the Sharjah Biennial.
