This event has ended.

The third of this series, “Materializing Exhibition III - Between Information and Materiality” seeks out the possibilities of art and design surrounding the recently mainstream digital fabrication. With digital modeling and fabrication techniques such as laser cutters and 3D printers receiving a high level of interest in recent years, this exhibition presents new expressions on information and materiality and aims to give a critical insight into the relationship between man and technology during these creative processes. Following up from last year’s successful exhibition at the University Art Museum, Tokyo University of the Arts, this show draws together specialists at the forefront of engineering, architecture, mathematics, life science, fine art and product design, allowing a glimpse into the evolution of cross-disciplinary collaboration in this post-digital age.
