Nishiki-e is a type of Ukiyo-e woodblock printing that applies multiple colored printing blocks to the same work to produce prints of beautiful colors and rich textures. This exhibition marking the 250th anniversary of Nishiki-e presents works by masters such as Sharaku, Hokusai, and Hiroshige from the Nara Prefectural Museum of Art, along with prints from the extensive collection of the Kuboso Memorial Museum of Arts, Izumi.
