Hiroki Yasutomi was born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1978 and completed graduate studies at Kyoto University of Art and Design in 2004. Acclaimed for the expressive power and skill of his pencil drawings, Yasutomi has been winning awards since his student days and now teaches part time at Kyoto University of Art and Design. Takashimaya displays 20 of his ultra-realistic drawings on paper artfully rendering gleaming light in nightscapes, water reflections, and other shining subjects.
