The first Kansai exhibition for Hiroyuki Omori presents 16 works including plaster sculptures and new oil paintings. Omori, a 1979 graduate of the University of Tsukuba’s Graduate School of Carving and Modeling, creates organic works evoking memories. His clay-based plaster sculptures emit light sheens from their wax coverings; he also creates tinplate carvings using the principles of sculpture, as well as prints, drawings, and other 2D works.
