Enokojima Art Days is a new project aimed at providing a new way of looking at the apartment buildings where most Japanese reside. Ten up-and-coming artists from all over the country and from genres as diverse as painting, sculpture, and photography have been invited to exhibit their works.
Unlike the word “alternative” which has a negative ring to it, the term “other” embraces new approaches. Not exactly an exhibition where public art is displayed and not an interactive art show, Flag Studio introduces this as a type of bug in the lifestyle program: an “installation” of a local art festival.
Exhibiting Artists: Hiroki Tsukuda, Shuhei Yamada, Aki Nagasaka, Mitsunori Kimura, Toshiaki Hicosaka, Hayato Wakabayashi, Soichiro Murata, Takuro Sugiyama, Yusuke Suga, and Azuma Koike.
