poster for Pharmakon: Medical-Ecological Approaches for Artistic Sensibilization

This event has ended.

A group contemporary art exhibition featuring five invited artists from France, three Japan-based artists, plus the curator. Pharmakon uses artistic methods to address social and environmental issues in today’s society where the practicality and existential meaning of artistic expression are in strong demand. Pharmakon aims to explore the potential for using artistic expression to tackle problems arising in other fields, bringing fresh perspectives by introducing artistic approaches to cutting-edge medicine and science, which as humans we should recognize as being linked to the environment and environmental issues relating to human endeavors. The exhibit presents works at The Terminal Kyoto and Contemporary Art and Spirits.
