This event has ended.

Kaori Yoshikawa is a multidisciplinary Japanese poet whose career encompasses deep explorations of a wide range of mediums, including drawing, painting, photography, moving image, assemblage, performance, music, sound, voice, and so on. This time, the artist features photographs.
Most of her creations are based on everyday life, made up of everyday objects, but she successfully makes them look quite different by distorting their essential qualities or setting them in circumstances or situations beyond the realm of our daily life. Under the influence of her aesthetic sensibility, things around us seem to take on their dissimilated features, unusually characterized by the catabolism of their own nature.
A chance to see her unique, inimitable works.
