Instead of the usual process of using a plaster mold for his ceramics, Hiroto Kitagawa has created a special technique of drying out and removing the clay to create a hollow, leaving a remaining outer skin which is then fired. Two installation works that contain 30 of his these life-sized sculptures are on show.
