This event has ended.

From the age of 40, appliqué artist Ayako Miyawaki (1905-1995) dedicated herself to creating works modeled on fish, vegetables, and flowers. Making use of used fabrics, her works resemble still life paintings in their three-dimensionality, and exude a warmth and humor that conveys her love for nature and everyday beauty.
