On the occasion of his 150th Birthday, we visit the work of Minakata Kumagusu, a biologist who devoted his life to the study of the natural world. In addition to Illustrations of fungi by Minakata Kumagusu, exhibited are sketches of plants by contemporary artist Kiyoko Saika and photographs of fresh water environments by contemporary photographer Ryu Uchiyama.
This exhibition is held simultaneously at Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art.
