poster for Spring Opening

This event has ended.

Since the ancient times, shrines and temples have attracted people to the cultural hub of Ashiya, and within these temples and shrines are inherited historical “treasures” that continue to protect these places of worship. This exhibition introduces valuable “treasures” such as the ‘Mizuhiki-maku’ curtain of the ‘Danjiri’ wooden cart from Uchideten Shrine and the ‘ema’ wooden plaques (on which Shinto worshippers write their prayers or wishes) from Iwazono shrine, alongside other precious and sacred items.
