This is Noritake Kinashi's new challenge. The works were created with the influence of many artists, with lively colors and curves. Satirizing the society with a good sense of humor and a positive vigor, Noritake uses colors to indicate the importance of family and friends, and the "memories of the heart". At Gallery Ryo a live model sketching workshop is held once a month. This exhibition showcases the drawings from the past workshops. Since each artist sees things in a differently, the same model will have been interpreted and drawn in many ways.

Bunyo Ide and Hideo Midori are both held in esteem in Nihonga circles. The pair's work has a charm rooted in their finely drawn lines and subtle forms, and, adding the deeply expressive sketchings of Takashi Yasuzumi, the gallery will show 20 new works of this trio. "People's Art" arose from Korea's unique traditions and the campaign for democracy. Taking 109 pieces from the Korean National Modern Art Museum's collection of paintings and sculptures, the currents of Korean Realism will be introduced.
