The Manyo Museum exhibits various aspects of ancient Japan including information on the well-known poetry collection Manyoshu ("Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves"). The museum's main activities include research on ancient Japanese culture, promoting Manyo culture through exhibitions, and managing a library with abundant resources on the poetry anthology. In addition, the museum also preserves related cultural artifacts found through excavations.

From 10:00 to 17:30
Closed on Mondays
Note:Open on a public holiday Wednesday but closed the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and between exhibitions.
