The Manyo Museum exhibits various aspects of ancient Japan including information on the well-known poetry collection Manyoshu ("Collection of Ten Thousand Leaves"). The museum's main activities include research on ancient Japanese culture, promoting Manyo culture through exhibitions, and managing a library with abundant resources on the poetry anthology. In addition, the museum also preserves related cultural artifacts found through excavations.

From Sakurai Station on the JR and Kintetsu lines, take the Kame bus and get off at Manyo Bunkakan Nishiguchi stop. The venue is a 1 minute walk from there.
