This museum is dedicated to the works of Nihonga painter Insho Domoto (1891-1975). Insho's works, which ranged from traditional Japanese paintings to abstract art, was hugely influential among successive Japanese painters. Insho himself designed the museum's exterior and interior in 1966, and opened to the public in 1992.

From 9:30 to 17:00
Closed on Mondays
Note:Open on a public holiday Monday but closed the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.

Adults and University Students ¥500, High School Students ¥400, Junior High and Elementary School Students ¥200, Seniors over 65 and Visitors with disability certificate free.
