Museum in The Namba area
Osaka city plans to construct a modern art museum in Nakanoshima. The collection for the tentative museum already contains over 3000 works, which includes modern and contemporary art from around the world, and modern designer furniture. In the past, the collection has been displayed partially in the City Art Museum and ATC Museum, but to increase its exposure, the Office for Osaka City Modern Museum began hosting exhibitions in the Shinsaibashi office. Themed exhibitions are held three times a year.
