A museum dedicated to promoting and preserving Kyoto's unique traditional crafts, creating a platform for the intersection of industry, culture and people and connecting the historic techniques of this city with the wider world, providing a snap shot of Kyoto’s long established traditions through the display of some 500 artifacts including kimono, obi sashes, lacquer ware and ceramics.
