Gallery in The Kawaramachi, Karasuma area

In the midst of a vibrant art era in the 1960s, Gallery Iteza was founded by Kazuko Fujita, with a focus on exhibiting Avant-garde art. After forty years, the gallery maintains its experimental edge by featuring live performances and supporting other experimental forms of expression. Recent exhibitions include mostly solo shows by young artists.
