A museum founded in 1951 to house the collections of the Fujita family. The collections comprise of over 5000 works of mostly premodern Eastern and Western paintings, but also calligraphy, ceramics, sculpture, lacquer ware, textiles and archaeological artifacts dating from ancient times to the Meiji period, including 9 artifacts designated as national treasures. The museum is set within a sprawling garden featuring a pagoda and fine examples of stone work.

From 10:00 to 16:30
Closed on Mondays
Note:Open on a public holiday Monday but closed the following day. Closed in between exhibitions.

Adults ¥800, University and High School Students ¥500, Junior High and Elementary School Students ¥300, Infants free.
