Tessai Museum
Museum in The Hyogo (others) area
The Tessai Museum opened in April 1975 to promote artworks by Tessai Tomioka, a famous painter and calligrapher. The museum is located in the Kiyoshikojin Seichoji temple. The collection varies from paintings and calligraphy, to ceramics hand painted by Tessai himself. Other works include an ancestry chart, and practice books from when Tessai learned calligraphy. The museum holds approximately four to five featured exhibits throughout the year.
