The Higashi Osaka Citizens Art Center opened in November 1997 near the Kintetsu Hanazono's rugby field and Hanazono park. The center hosts art shows by various organizations, and accommodates exhibitions, art seminars, artist lectures and concerts supported by the city of Higashi Osaka.
