The Tanabe City Museum of Art aims to provide a comfortable place where visitors can view local art from the Tanabe-Kinan region (Wakayama, Nara, and Mie prefectures). The museum aims to include the following genres its collection: Portraits of modern writers and artists from the local region; artworks that represent the local culture; artworks that represent the wonderful nature present in the local region.

Closed on Mondays
Note:Open on public holidays (including Monday, excluding the weekend) but closed the following the day. Closed during the New Year holidays.

Adults ¥250. Students and under 17 free. Special Exhibition Fees may be charged separately.
