On July 13th, 2005, the Kobe Lampwork Glass Museum opened its doors to the public. After ten years since the Hanshin earthquake, the museum was built with the purpose of creating a bright future for Kobe through its glass crafts.
Through the museum's interactive displays, and the actions of viewing, learning, creating, and purchasing, visitors can experience the world of Kobe's glass and lampwork crafts.
