The famous cartoonist, Osamu Tezuka lived in Takarazuka from age 5 to 24. To commemorate the cartoonist and his achievements, the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum opened April 25, 1994, to promote "love towards nature and respect the value of life", a theme that is common in Tezuka's works.
